In 2010, it started as a Cardiology clinic and due to the relationship between diet and cardiovascular disease, the nutrition area was linked, thus, the Non-Invasive Cardiology Center of Antigua Guatemala was born. With this alliance, comprehensive control was achieved.
Likewise, the incorporation of a cardiovascular product pharmacy in order to provide the patient with a better service and ensure the quality of the drugs they consume.
Despite the fact that one of our founders is a clinical cardiologist and cardiovascular intensivist for the global management of the patient, the need to create the area of Internal Medicine was generated.
For many years we realized the need for a clinical laboratory with high-level hygiene and biosafety standards in the Sacatepequez area.
And it was not until 2021 when it was decided to open the Clinical Laboratory, this in order to be able to assure the patient controlled, accurate quality results and in the shortest possible time.
With this laboratory we close the circle to ensure a high quality service to our patients.
Antigua cardiology center is a company with 11 years of experience in the health area, where its main objective is the search for excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
From the beginning we have been aware that the economic situation in our country is not equitable, so we support the most needy and various public and private institutions (NGOs), this in the area of consultations, specific examinations and now also in the clinical laboratory .

I was born in Antigua Guatemala, after completing my three year-training in cardiology, I continued an additional year studying critical cardiovascular medicine ending my specialization on March 2008. Since my first day in Guatemala, I worked in UNICAR for eight years in the critical care unit as a coordinator. While I was working there, I always thought about the importance of working and contributing at my hometown. I knew that in Antigua the cardiology services were important.
Considering the afore mentioned on June 2010 I started in Antigua Guatemala with my private practice, with a small clinic, pharmacy and my echocardiogram. A few years later the practice grew, and I understood that I needed to be here.
Then we added non-invasive services and we stablished Cardiology Center, which now includes staff of internal medicine and nutrition among others, that you can see in our web page.
